Aims and Objectives
Creating a fund for the provision of pro-bono legal services to vulnerable and less privileged members of the society.
Supporting the advocacy of legal practitioners in the areas of rape/defilement, women’s and widows’ rights, police brutality/extra judicial killings, and prison decongestion; specifically, for inmates awaiting trial, among others.
To support legal practitioners in the provision of pro-bono legal services in Nigeria. Establishing a Kenna Foundation Fellowship for deserving legal practitioners in Nigeria who have distinguished themselves in the relevant areas earmarked and identified for support by the Foundation;
To promote a stable social and economic climate in Nigeria.
Supporting the advocacy of legal practitioners in the areas of rape/defilement, women’s and widows’ rights, police brutality/extra judicial killings, and prison decongestion; specifically, for inmates awaiting trial, among others.
To create awareness of the illegality and consequences of rape/defilement, women’s and widows’ rights, police brutality/extra judicial killings, and prison decongestion on the victims, perpetrators and the society.
To do such other things that may be considered to be incidental or conducive to attaining all or any of its objectives.
